| Resumen |
This artist-approved publication features the work of celebrated Argentinean-born artist Raquel Rabinovich , and includes photographs of her rock sculpture, watercolors, urban installations, and works using pencil on specially selected papers. Exquisitely designed by Susan Quasha with essays by art critic and curator Linda Weintraub and poet/artist George Quasha, and a poem by Charles Stein selected by the artist.<br/><br/>The texts discuss the artist’s work from 1963, when she began her lifelong investigations into the nature of existence through an exploration of what she calls “the dark,” that which is “concealed beneath the surface of objects, of words, of thoughts, of the world.” In her work Rabinovich speaks a language where the fine line between inner and outer turns transparent. |

Esta publicación, aprobada por artistas, presenta la obra de la célebre artista de origen argentino Raquel Rabinovich , e incluye fotografías de sus esculturas rupestres, acuarelas, instalaciones urbanas y obras realizadas a lápiz sobre papeles especialmente seleccionados. Exquisitamente diseñado por Susan Quasha, con ensayos de la crítica de arte y comisaria Linda Weintraub y del poeta y artista George Quasha, y un poema de Charles Stein seleccionado por la artista.<br/><br/>Los textos abordan la obra de la artista desde 1963, cuando comenzó sus investigaciones de toda la vida sobre la naturaleza de la existencia a través de una exploración de lo que ella llama "la oscuridad", aquello que está "oculto bajo la superficie de los objetos, de las palabras, de los pensamientos, del mundo". En su obra, Rabinovich habla un lenguaje en el que la fina línea que separa lo interior de lo exterior se vuelve transparente. |
